Boy or Girl?

In today's society in many instances it is very difficult to tell the teenage boys and girls apart. Yes, and even some older ones. They dress and look alike. Seldom have women worn so much hair that isn't their own or young men, the opposite. The young men are wearing long hair that is forbidden by God. The scriptures tell us in 1 Corinthians 11: 14 ". . . If a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him." Women of all ages have removed the gift of nature in order to wear a wig. I Corinthians 11: 15 states, "But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering." Christian women are to have their own hair, not some one else's. Her hair is her glory.

Young women are dressing like men. Yes and even the older women. They are using men's clothing. God's holy word forbids this in Deuteronomy 22:5, "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so is abomination unto the Lord thy God." The fact that Christian women must dress themselves in modest clothing is established in I Timothy 2:9, when the apostle Paul says, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety"

As Christians, let us be not guilty of failing to teach on this. God created man and woman separate. They are not to look and dress alike. We are to be able to distinguish between boys and girls. Christians are to meet God's standards of appearance and dress. Not the worlds!
